Cumbuca da Pina is a cultural production company founded in 2013 in São Bernardo do Campo, in the São Paulo metropolitan region. Created through the partnership between Nicole Marangoni and Eramir Neto, the company grew out of the meeting of complementary artistic paths, bringing together experience in theatre, music, and audiovisual work, with a focus on original, independent creations.
In theatre, the company produces the solo show EU|TELMA, by Nicole Marangoni, one of the standout productions on the São Paulo scene since its 2019 premiere, and is currently in pre-production for Disruptivo, a new production based on an original, previously unstaged play by Anna Toledo.
In music, it produces and directs Eramir Neto's projects, including the live show Meniere and the album Reykjavik, performed at venues such as Instrumental Sesc Brasil and the Rio Jazz Montreux Festival in Rio de Janeiro.
In audiovisual, it develops original projects such as the program Quanto Custa (Rede TVT) and the short film Bolha, written by Anna Toledo and directed by Nicole Marangoni.
Also dedicated to work for young audiences, Cumbuca da Pina produces the show Lua Vermelha, the interactive podcast Meu Humano Saiu, and, since 2026, Fanfarrinha Zapina, a musical project reviving Brazil's traditional folk songs.

NICOLE MARANGONI
Nicole Marangoni is a São Paulo-based artist, playwright, director, cultural producer, and researcher, co-founder of Cumbuca da Pina, with professional experience in the performing arts since 2008. She holds a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from UNESP and has complementary training from the Centro de Pesquisa Teatral (CPT – Antunes Filho), the Fundação das Artes de São Caetano do Sul, and the Escola dos Doutores da Alegria.
Her career is marked by the creation and touring of original works, bringing together research, cultural production, and independent project development. She is the author, director, and performer of the solo show EU|TELMA, named by specialized critics as one of the theatrical highlights of 2019, and the author of the children's show Lua Vermelha and the podcast Meu Humano Saiu, consolidating her work across different artistic languages.
She also works as a grant reviewer, researcher, and instructor. In 2024 and 2026, she was part of the review committee for PROAC public grants at the Secretariat of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries of the State of São Paulo. She developed the PIBIC research project "The self-realization of women in the performing arts as a strategy for autonomy and permanence amid labor precarity" and teaches courses focused on original creation and cultural production.
